In this respect we maintain close relationships with the network of international underwriters and correspondents which enable us to monitor products and capabilities of the global marine insurance market. This hands-on approach enables HP International (Hellas) Corp. to keep its clients informed of the latest developments while maintain highly competitive insurance solutions in an ever changing industry.

AVERAGE ADJUSTING

We are established in our ability to handle our client’s claims professionally from the time of the first report all the way through the final collections from underwriters.
As a result of our long and varied experiences, we are competent in handling all aspects of the Hull and Machinery losses, complex General Average situations involving multiple interests and all Protection and Indemnity matters ranging from pollution and personal injury, along with Cargo, Charterers Legal Liability and Loss of Hire claims, to name but a few.

The Average Adjusting Department at HP International (Hellas) Corp. is the discipline upon which the company was founded. Claims are serviced by individuals who are full members of the Association of Average Adjusters of United States and associated members of the British and Canadian Association of Average Adjusters.

CONSULTING SERVICES

We offer the following services which are entrusted to personnel with vast experience in acting as superintendents for Ship Owners or Classification Societies.

1. Condition or pre-purchase surveys with extensive experience including but not limited to dry cargo vessels, oil tankers, F.S.O., chemicals, containers, Ro-Ro, etc.
2. Post purchase, ship repairs, special surveys and any size of repair project undertaken from initial specifications, selection of project contractors, on site attendance and negotiations with shipyards.
3. Major projects entailing conversions from single to double skin, oil tankers to bulk carriers and oil tankers to FSO vessels.
4. Surveyors and technical advisors on marine related claims.
